The 3rd Army Area donated blood 6,232,013 cc. (Fiscal Year 2564)

Due to the outbreak of COVID - 19, the blood reserves of the Thai Red Cross Society have decreased after the Songkran Festival in 2021 onwards. The RTA. has invited volunteers, families, and people to join the blood donation under the “Blood Donation Volunteer for the Nation" project and to provide sufficient blood reserves for further treatment of COVID - 19 patients. In this regard, Lt.Gen. Apichet Suesat, The Commander of The 3rd Army Area (3AA.) and 3AA. Disaster Relief Center, together with personnel, families, and privates of the organic units in 17 Northern provinces, donated their blood with a total blood volume of 6,232,013 cc., at the centralized organization and hospitals in the Northern area. If there are any blood needs, 3AA. is delighted to help by donating blood to the patients and creating stability public health system for Thai society.
